HDB++ HdbEventSubscriber AttributeStart

Hi Lorenzo,

thx for the hint.

I've set the polling and the event threshold and added manually 1 record to the att_conf SQL table.
This way it works.

Unfortunately without adding the record manually to the att_conf table I receive the same error message.

I think I give up the manual attribute adding now and I will forward the information that it is better to use Tango 9 in case we would like to use HDB++.

Thanks for your support,
Sandor

Yes, of course. Adding the entry in the att_conf table is necessary in order to archive: basically
you have to setup the database in order to link the attribute name to the unique ID. But this is
not a task for the archiving engine, it's matter of configuration of the back-end and it's managed
by the ConfigurationManager device.
So all of this you can do even without the GUI using the ConfigurationManager TANGO device server,
which, by the way, the Configurator GUI relies on anyway…
So, be aware that even with TANGO 9 you'll need the right working setup of EventSubscriber device(s)
and ConfigurationManager device…
That said, for shure it will be much better to use TANGO 9 in general at this time as
several improvements and bug fixes have been introduced.
