cleaning TANGO database from ghost lines

Hi, I remember someone (Jan ?) at the last meeting (2015) in Krakow said some standard MySQL procedures allow to clean database from "ghost" lines. It was during the questions after the talk of Gwenaëlle about "Tango static database : bugs and design issues". I think it was about DS without device for instance. Does anyone know what are these procedures and how to use them ?

Hi Philippe, I do not remember who had a script but from what I know this should only happen for old databases. The recent versions of the database server do the cleanup automatically. Are you sure you have ghosts? Which version of the database are you running? Kind regards Andy |

Thank you Andy. No we do not actually have issues with ghosts due to an old database, but I did not understand that only old databases have this problem. I just wanted to have this tool in case we observe ghost in the future.
