ICALEPCS 2009

A Tango collaboration meeting will be held at ICALEPCS 2009 in Kobe on Sunday the 11th October. The meeting will take place in the room 501 in the Kobe conference center :

The meeting will start at 9 am.

We propose this to be a working meeting with mainly discussions and work and little or no presentations. The main topics are :

(1) Move the CVS repository to GIT/SVN and clean it up and reorganise it

(2) Discuss and specify a search machine for finding device servers

(3) Upload missing device servers to SF. Everybody is STRONGLY encouraged to do this before the meeting or during the meeting if they need help (hint hint to all who have not loaded up (m)any device servers to date)

(4) Draw up a Tango Policy defining the rules for Tango developers (we will seek inspiration from the Debian policy)

(5) Discuss the possibility of forming a Tango executive committee

(6) Feedback on Tango 7

(7) News from institutes

(8) Feedback on improvements for Tango 8

(9) Feedback on new Tango event system

(9) Conclusion on Performance
